Podcasting Morning Show

We spotlight one podcast each episode in a 60-second segment. If your show has something worth hearing, we want to share it with our community.

About the Feature
What Is the 60-Second Spotlight?

Each episode, the Podcasting Morning Show gives one podcast a short feature segment. We play or describe a clip, share what the show is about, and introduce it to our listeners. It's a genuine listen, not a paid placement. Our community tunes in because they trust our picks, so we take every submission seriously.

🎙
Real Airtime
Your clip gets played during the episode, in front of an engaged podcasting audience.
🌐
Community Reach
The PMS community includes active podcasters, listeners, and creators across platforms.
💬
Word of Mouth

🤝
No Cost
This is not a paid slot. We feature podcasts we genuinely think our audience will enjoy.
The Process
How It Works

Here's what happens from the moment you hit submit to the moment your podcast reaches our listeners.

1
Submit the form below
Fill out the submission form with your podcast name, a short description, and a 60-second clip or shareable link. Include context about who your show is for.
2
We review your submission
The PMS team listens to your clip and checks if it's a good match. We look at audio quality, content relevance, and whether the clip gives a strong first impression.
3
We reach out if selected
If your podcast is chosen, someone from the team will contact you before the episode airs. We may ask for a few more details or a revised clip if needed.
4
Your podcast goes live
We feature your show in the episode and share it across our channels. You'll know when it's live so you can share it with your own audience too.
Selection Criteria
What We Look For

We don't have a rigid checklist. But a few things consistently make a submission stand out.

Clear, clean audio
You don't need a studio, but your audio should be easy to follow without straining.
A moment that hooks
Pick a clip that makes someone curious. A strong question, a surprising point, or a story that opens well.
Any topic welcome
Our listeners are podcasters, but your show doesn't have to be. Any topic works — as long as the content is strong and the clip hooks them in.
Honest description
Tell us what your show is really about. We'd rather hear the honest pitch than a polished one that oversells.
Active show
We prefer shows still publishing. Listeners need somewhere to go after the feature.
Original content
No AI-generated voices or heavily templated formats. We want something with a real person behind it.
Before You Submit
Submission Guidelines

A few technical things to keep in mind so your submission doesn't get held up.

60 seconds max
Keep your clip at 60 seconds or under. Pick your best 60 seconds.
Links accepted
Google Drive, Dropbox, or a direct episode link all work instead of a file upload.
No copyrighted music
Background music must be royalty-free or original. No licensed tracks.
MP3 or MP4 only
Direct file uploads must be in MP3 or MP4 format. Other formats won't be accepted.
English-language only
We feature English-language content only for now. This may expand in the future.

Common Questions
FAQ
How long does the review take?
We try to review submissions within two weeks. If selected, you'll hear from us before it airs. No response after three weeks means it wasn't selected this round, but you're welcome to reach out.
Can I submit if my podcast is brand new?
Yes. We've featured newer shows before. Just make sure you have at least one strong episode we can point listeners to.
Will I be notified if I'm not selected?
We review every submission but can't send individual rejection notices. If you haven't heard back after three weeks, you're welcome to re-submit after a few months.
Is this a paid feature?
No. We select shows based on fit and quality, not who pays. If you're looking for a paid placement, this isn't it.
What if my audio quality isn't perfect?
We understand not everyone has a pro setup. What matters is that the audio is clear enough to follow comfortably. Distortion that makes it hard to focus is where it becomes a problem.
